Cookie Policy

This page lists everything YakPipes stores in your browser on our own websites. Essential storage keeps the service working. Optional, first-party product analytics and advertising attribution run only when your privacy choice permits analytics. We do not load a third-party advertising tag in your browser.

Cookies we set

• Session cookie (essential) — keeps you logged in and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Deleted when your session ends.
• Remember-me and sign-in flow cookies (essential, when used) — keep you signed in or safely complete an authentication flow. Their lifetime is limited to the selected sign-in period or the short authentication flow.
• yak_ad_attribution (optional, up to 90 days) — records the first Google click identifier and UTM campaign values from the landing URL after Ad Measurement consent. We associate it with the workspace at signup, delete the browser cookie, and may send eligible signup and purchase conversions to Google Ads from our server.
• yak_conversion (optional, up to five minutes) — lets our first-party analytics recorder receive a one-time signup milestone after a redirect, then deletes itself.

Local storage

• Theme preference — remembers your light/dark/system choice. Stored in your browser's local storage, never sent to us.
• yakpipes_privacy_v1 — remembers whether you allowed product analytics and session replay so we can honour the choice on later visits.
• YakTracks browser storage (optional) — when product analytics is enabled, first-party local and session storage keeps a pseudonymous session, delivery queue, and consent flags. YakPipes uses signals mode and does not enable session replay.

Product analytics and advertising measurement

YakTracks is our first-party analytics service. In signals mode it records coarse page, click, scroll, error, and product-milestone events; form values are not collected. If a consented Google Ads click later becomes a signup or purchase, our server can upload the click identifier, conversion action, and time to Google Ads. Google then handles that data under its own privacy terms.

Webhooks and connected services

Your workflows may receive data from and send data to third-party services you connect. What those services store in your or your users' browsers is governed by their own cookie and privacy notices; our role is described in our Privacy Policy.

Managing cookies

Use “Your privacy choices” to change optional analytics at any time. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable optional collection. You can also clear or block storage in your browser settings; blocking the essential session cookie will prevent logging in.
